Dairy Free Vegan "Cheese" Sauce
Ingredients
  • 2 cups raw cashews (soaked overnight and drained)
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • salt to taste
Instructions
  • Soak the cashews in water overnight.
  • The next day, drain and rinse them.
  • Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
You can store it in the fridge in an airtight container. Should keep for a few weeks.

Note:use a little turmeric to give it a cheesy color
